My Story
I grew up and currently live outside of Louisville, KY in Georgetown, Indiana. As a kid, you could always find me doing something artistic and creative. God surely blessed me with an artistic eye and it seemed I always had a sketch pad and pencil by my side. If it wasn’t sketching, then I was painting or attending artistic workshops around the area. Creativity just ran through my blood and in the years since, it has only gotten stronger.
After pursing my creative passion at Purdue University, I graduated and spent the next 10 years working in graphic and web design. I created and developed anything from printed brochures to full on corporate websites. Through each project my dedication and artistic approach continued to grow.
Over the years, the desire to be creative has turned into my passion. Through that, the next logical fit for me was photography and Payne Photography Studio was born. I went out, bought a fancy camera and just started snapping away. Ever since, I’ve had a strong desire to capture the essence of our moments on this earth. I love documenting the memories of our days with beautiful and unique imagery that we can cherish forever.
In August of 2010 I married my lovely wife Lindsay and she is right by my side every step of the way. God continues to be awesome and on September 18, 2011, our daughter Olivia Joy was welcomed into this world. Which, has been the greatest blessing of them all.
